Originally from Walnut Cove, North Carolina, David graduated with honors, cum laude, from Hampden-Sydney College. Thereafter, David earned his juris doctorate, as a member of the Dean’s List, at Charlotte School of Law.
While at Charlotte School of Law, David gained experience as an intern with the 26th Judicial District Trial Court Administrator’s Office. Further, David worked with Judge Ronald L. Chapman as an extern with the Family Court Division of District Court in Mecklenburg County. David also garnered prosecution experience, under North Carolina’s Third Year Practice Certification, as an intern with the 26th Prosecutorial District: domestic violence and child abuse cases were prosecuted and David also handled misdemeanor/felony pleas and bond hearings.
After passing the North Carolina Bar Examination, David worked as both a contract and family law attorney. In August 2016, David has joined Hands Law Office, PLLC to serve you in matters he is very acquainted with: family, criminal, or traffic law matters.
David currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, with his wife Meredith. He enjoys coaching Little League baseball, mentoring 6th grade males at New Charlotte Church, running, and spending time with friends and family at the ball park watching the Charlotte Knights.
